I don't like when the supermarkets don't give plastic bags,or they hide them or charge for the bags.Thats too much for me.
They should go for other options such as bio degradable plastics. Why annoy people to save their money?
There are so many things about being green which are done on people's expense, rather than the rich and wealthy corporate giants.

You have to pay for bags here in Ireland, so most people have reusable ones. It's really no hassle to have some in the car for when you go shopping.
Also, the reusable ones are sturdier, and they handles don't cut into your hands.-

Yeah mate,i hope i was that well organised. Doesn't work for louse lazy shoppers like myself
.
Being green should have options for all type of people.
If more money is pumped into research about Plastics, the plastic problem can be handled in a better way.
For example,if there was a away to genetically modify a bacteria to eat up plastics, that will clean our oceans from the mess already out there, and building by the hour.

9 times out of 10 i'll forget to take a re-usable bag to the shops with me. I feel guilty when i have to ask for carrier bags but at least Morrisons and asda don't charge.

They charge for the bag yet they use so much packaging on goods! Also why do you have to pay for a reusable, studier bag in the first place that gets me, hand them out to people for free x

ummm.... i'd rather see paper bags actually, i don't mind them charging me for bags at the shops. It reminds us all not to be so wasteful. I agree if bio degradeable bags could be more readily available i'd be really happy
