For all the religious folks out there,do you ever think of travelling to your religion's holy place? Have you ever done it?
Ok lets not be religious. For example you have an obsession with someone, say Elvis Presley.Would you want to go and see his home town, his mansion,or his grave? Are you planning or have been to such a trip?

Easter and christmas are religious festivals, although not celebrated in that spirit anymore.(now its more about spirits,as in alcohol

I guess this is similar. In 1992 Portsmouth got to the semi finals of the FA Cup and lost on penalties. I said then I would never go to Wembley until Pompey played there. In April 2008 we did against West Brom and of course I attended so I guess that was a kind of pilgrimage.

I think you are not alone. There is a large population of footy pilgrims.
My non religious pilgrimage was to the lake district, specially to the places related to william wordsworth.
Next i plan to visit Issac Newton's birth place in Lincolnshire.Wont mind visiting the Isle of man TT,but i have heard that there are too many biking hooligans at the event

I've always wanted to get to the lakes. I have heard it is gorgeous up there. As for the Isle of Man, It cant be too bad since their tourist trade relies on it can it?
