Dropped my nokia phone on the pavement and broke something.Now if i shake the phone,it sounds like a rattle.It stopped charging the normal way,but everything else was fine.My diagnosis was that the battery charging pins have broken.Since the phone is out of warranty(because its 3 years old),i have to arrange the repair myself.Until then i found a way to charge the battery,and it works :>>.Here is a lego fitted with a normal phone charger.The usual charging thingy has been removed and the positive negative wire stick out of the lego block,held in contact with battery terminals by a hair band.
