I have a wee profile on facebook,and i wandered in that unfamiliar territory.Its more about showing off and attracting attention than indulging in a discussion,sharing your experiences and sentiments as bloggers do here.There is a clan culture on facebook,people stick to a certain group and wont welcome newcomers.If you dont have a picture on your facebook profile,nobody will read whatever you say,and in blogland few have their actual pics and names posted,and thats a good thing if we here try to share the mind and thoughts of a person,without judging them by physical appearance.
Btw,how many bloggers have shagged a bird they met in blogland? and how many facebookers have shagged a facebook friend? By caparison,facebook looks more like a dating service.
Often it surprises me when i see people living under same roof,adding each other on facebook,and talking via keyboard and mouse while they can turn their neck and talk to each other.In blogland however it is rare,or so i think.
Anyway,i am here for the last three years,and hopefully will linger on.

I use facebook to keep in touch with family and friends..It's cheaper than a phone call
...plus I also have some bloggers on mine...
With blogging I like the fact there is a real community spirit here..Although 'I' feel it has dwindled slightly?! .. xx -

Blog is definitely much better than Facebook but only because - well for me anyway - it's people you don't know in the real world.
For me Facebook is just used to plan meeting up with people. I don't really like it, to be honest.-

i frankly donot know how people can spend so many hours mindlessly, taking their pics in different poses, putting them up so cluelessly. i see 3 different poses every hour. its like they are on an uploading mission.the conversation is the least bit stimulating...But... facebook keeps u in touch with people all over the world.i have met friends i lost touch with a decade or more ago. caught up with girls i graduated with ages ago, now i see how their kids look like and how their hubbies gave them a surprise birthday party

I use FB to keep up with friends that i don't really have enough to talk about to warrant a phone call! I like the community spirit on here and the fact that not everyone has actually met me x
