  • This may be the only time when all world will stand united

If earth gets attacked by aliens from outer space.

  • The indian Drama

They say that hundreds of armed men invaded the city of mambai.I smell rat.
This can be a staged and rigged attack for some political and financial motives. Most porobably to find a reason for attacking neighboring pakistan.
Its very easy these days to jump on the band wagon then blame anybody of terorism, and then arrest them, invade them, freeze their assets without solid proof.

  • 101 gift gadgets

Nice little telescope good for moon watching and terrestrial observations with some stunning image quality, and its cheap.

A microscope that can be attached to the computer and can take pictures of tiny objects.

A cheap replacement for 52 inch plasma tele, and portable too.

For people who love thair car and keep upgrading.Thius is a nice flashy device but its also useful. It is a GPS receiver with very high update rate, and an accurate speedometer, with style. It will give you the feel of an F-22 Raptor.

Most people want a laptop computer for internet surfing while on the go.Laptops are both bulky and expensive, plus you have to pay for internet usage.
Here is a cheaper device which comes with mobile internet included in the cost.

To connect your PC with you HD tele with HDMI,here is a cheap but good graphics card.

Convert your PC into a Blu ray disc player. This blu ray drive will fit into your computer same way as your current DVD drive.
You will need a compatible graphics card to play the blu ray discs as they are encripted. The best graphics card in my opinion for this purpose in ATI HD 3450.

Cheap camera for underwater photography. Its digital and reasonable 6 megapixel resolution.

Or maybe a chinese iphone.Beleive or not,but they are good.

  • Woolworths

Yesterday i was a bit sad,and may be depressed to read the news about woolworths going into administeration. Not that i work for them or i am their customer, but i was thinking whats next.
Today there is some good news that woolworth being such a famous name has attracted many buyers, and hopefully someone smarter than the current owners will buy the chain and make it better.

  • Minus 130£

Just upgraded my PC,and spend four restless nights on sorting out hardware and software problems, and spending £130,its up and running at supersonic speed. Now i am thinking if i really need such a fast computer?
No probs,i will sell it on ebay after a few days of techno geekish enjoyment and will be back to my old faithful PC.:)

  • Good news for big rears

If you got a big rear and can't fit in one seat the canadian airline will give you another seat for free.
Ok fair enough, but what about people like me who's rear end barely exists, and can easily fit in half a seat.Should i get a discount from the airline?

  • Bloggity revelation day

In my almost three years of blogging today is a very special day in this virtual world.
Bloggers are revealing their faces,(and some are cheating ;) )
Its good to see the real people behind words i have been reading for a long time now.
I know it won't last long and bloggers will go back to their avatars but this bloggity face party is all too exciting,at least for me :)

  • Self company

Do we always need company? I always had good friends but at the same time being alone is also important.Give too much attention to somebody and they will start taking you for granted.
Time and again we need to leave our beloved ones alone. This way people don't get bored of us.Kids get bored of their parents if they give them too much attention all the time, and so do partners with each other i suppose.I am not a big fan of Pink, but she explains it all in one of her usual very loud song.

  • And you will live happily ever after

Probably this is the world's most expensive dish, and yes after having this men will never need viagra and women will never have periods and will never put on weight. (not really)
    caviar
The world's most expensive caviar is a type of Iranian beluga called Almas. Pale amber in color, it comes from sturgeons that are between 60 and 100 years old. A 3.9-pound container will set you back $48,750.

  • When did you write a letter?

I was freshly graduated from the college and joined merchant navy.I was too much into electronics, and the old man(captain) didn't like that.
Initially i used to do training watches on the navigational bridge with the 2nd officer who was a nice guy but too lazy to teach me anything.
As a result i used my bookish knowledge and operated the Radars and other navigational aids to their maximum capacity and never actually used the old fashion way of picking up the binoculars and visually assessing the oncoming ship's course and speed and then taking collision avoidance action.I would do what the gadgets told me to do which worked fine for me,and the occasional visits from the old man were very annoying when he tried to teach me how to navigate by using lighthouses and coastal features. One day it happened. The generators shut down for a minute and then re started, and all the gadgets i was relying on,reset themselves and most went blank. It was clear visibility but i didn't have a clue what to do.The text book procedure was to steer by the magnetic compass, after manually applying the deviation and variation corrections,as the electronic compass had failed, and pick up the binocular and look at other ships to assess what course and speed they are doing, and recognize the coastal features then compare them with navigational charts to plot my position, and that was more accurate than GPS positions.I had studied all that but never practically used the procedure, and so i was lost. Then came the old man and with the sinister smile on his face he asked me "son, now you know what i was trying to teach you?".He was right and i had to admit that computers and gadgets my be more accurate than human instincts but they fail, and if we haven't learnt how to use our senses,we will be lost.
In this day and age, slowly but surely we are becoming excessively reliant on machines and slowly losing our ability to work without them. For example when was the last time you wrote a letter with a pen, instead of typing it or using email?

  • Can't they eat something else?

  • Online sex

A British couple who met each others avatars in the virtual world "second life",then the avatars dated and married.
They lived together in real life until she caught his avatar having sex with a virtual prostitute and she wants divorce in real life.
    Complicated,isn't it?

  • I hazh been to manchester

The only problem i had while on the way to Manchester blog meet was that somehow all of the north England and Scotland found out and tried to accompany me and i couldn't go above 50 Mph all the way from Preston to Manchester.
Reached at the restaurant where we had to meet half an hour late,no biggie it was "fashionably late" :>>
Somehow the man at the reception knew that i was there to meet the two ladies sitting at the corner table.Although i was the one who made the booking on phone and asked them to give us a table in some quiet corner, but it wasn't quiet there and the restaurant was full.Meno was there and i was glad to see her again after an year, and the other blogger was deana24,met her for the first time and loved it.Rowtheboat arrived after a while and i was firmly holding my chair for stopping myself from jumping on her :>>.We had a nice dinner and sat there for another 2 hours.
Things i learnt from the blog meet
    1. There will be a new millionair soon to appear in the dragon's den aka RTB.
    2. There is something called social anthropology.
    3. Rhubarb is edible, and tastes good.
    4. People like iphones (i hate them)
    5. Its not hillary clinton on diana24's profile piccy, its actually herself.

On the way out of the blogmeet i took meno back to her hotel and was back there yesterday to take her out for dinner. We went to a buffet restaurant on stockport road and meno loved the food and specially the zillion different type of dishes we had for a tenner.
Next stop was Tafford center but it was about to close,so me and meno almost ran around in the upper and lower floors, and meno liked it.There was a christmas tree who tried to talk to meno but she was not in a mood.
    Oh well,it was fun.

  • Rarely known sports

No bats,no hats,no balls. No whistles. But there are cheer leaders and spectators.
This is a CPU over clocking championship,in which geeks would compete to over clock their PC processors to the highest possible speed without frying them or destabilizing the system.

The only info about the sports is that the team in black shirts won.

And last but not least....The power of viagra championship....have fun :))

  • NATO on the move

Over the years NATO had restricted their activities inside Afghanistan and never crossed borders into a neighboring country.
Last week NATO jet planes entered Pakistani territory and bombarded a village. They may or may not be the legit targets, but since Pakistan Army,Air force and Paramilitary are already taking stern action against suspected militants and al quaida operatives, why there is a need for foreign forces to intrude?
They went to Iraq and Afghanistan for so called peace keeping. The result is an astronomical increase in bloodshed, violence and instability. The Utopian peace for which NATO are fighting may never be achieved by this way.
Two countries have already been nearly annihilated by this false doctrine of bringing democracy and prosperity to the people, please don't consume another country.
However bad Pakistan may be,the situation is better than an all out war which NATO are trying to bring to us.
The medieval justice system says "an eye for an eye,a hand for a hand and a life for a life".
All started with the 3000 people who were killed at World trade center on September 11 2000.
In return thousands or possibly hundreds of thousands have been already killed and its going on.The so called justice has been done long ago,now it has entered the realm of injustice and oppression.
The war machine should go home and save money to cope with credit crunch and financial crisis, that will be way better than upsetting a new country every year or so.

  • Yup its going down

Pound sterling was around 1.5 against dollar and that is a pure indicator of economic down fall aka credit crunch.
How is it affecting me? Now and again i import gadgets from far east, but due to low value of British pound,it has become unfeasible for me at the moment.
As some great mind once said "Shit happens" :))

  • We don't have to see these anymore

I may be one of the few who celebrated the smoking ban in closed spaces. It was so irritating when people stunk like burning wood and bellowing smoke like a train engine, and still though it is cool, classy and stylish.
Here are some Cigarette TV adds ;)

  • Sarah palin's porn vid

No matter if she wins or loses elections, she is good for erections :>

    http://hustler.com/Hustler_Warning_Parody/parody.php?cs=0&w=420901

Larry Flynt is using the power of porn to express his views on Sarah Palin.

The Hustler founder and freedom of speech advocate has produced an X-rated movie using an adult-film actress who resembles the Republican vice presidential candidate.

Flynt's producers posted an anonymous help-wanted ad on Craigslist in L.A. just days after the Republican convention. "Looking for a Sarah Palin look-alike," read the ad, "for an adult film to be shot in the next 10 days." The actress would be paid $3,000 for the part, said the ad.

Flynt's spokesman David Carrillo confirmed to us yesterday that the film has been shot by Hustler Video, but he wouldn't yet reveal the title.

  • If you watched it on tele, you missed a lot

I really enjoyed watching it online.ITV website was streaming the event live.I am on about the Brazil grand prix last night.
What a race, wow. While ITV was showing advertisements, online they were showing pretty emotional scenes from the dressing room.
One moment the Brazilian team were cheering and celebrating, and then it was all quiet in their camp, and lewis Hamilton's gang was all over the place.
Lewis got a beautiful GF though ;)

Your Result: You will die in a car accident.

Please, continue to buckle up, and try not to speed. More likely than not, it will happen very randomly and quickly. Occasionally, this result stands for death in a plane crash. Do not fear transportation. Avoid becoming a hermit, you cannot escape fate.

You will die from a terminal illness.

You will die in a nuclear holocaust.

    You will be murdered.

You will die while having sex.

You will die in your sleep.

  • The art of slow cooking

These are my favorite dishes.Ingredients are cooked for about 8 hours on slow heat. There are many such dishes invented mainly by the moguls in the days when wood was the main fuel.People would leave the ingredients on slowly burning charcoal overnight, and have the prepared dish in breakfast.
    Yummy.
My favorites are Nihari and paye.
Can't find the recipe for paye on internet, but its a high cholesterol dish, made with the bottom part of cow or goat legs. nihari
