I received a letter from the court.It says that i have been randomly selected to be in the jury,and i have to do it and i can't refuse.

I'd have no idea what I'd do if I was called...would definitely request transport to and from there...and many apologies, Saf...even though it's not your real birthday...or you suggested it wasn't...for whatever day it is, I got sidetracked during our hols from wishing you a very Happy Birthday on the 14th so here's very belated ones...Many Happy returns for that day....great big hugs and loads of love...XXX -

1. You can get out of jury service by finding a doctor to certify you have a serious bladder complaint. They won't want to stop court proceeding every few minutes.
2. I thought you were scheduled to be absent from blogland for a whole week.

Why not you ?....you must be a law abiding citizen as anyone with a criminal record can't serve on a jury

unless of course you're plain clever and have never got caught

I was called and dismissed simply because I am a government employee and they suspected I would be either too harsh or too sympathetic.
The nerve!!!
