Yesterday i went to the bank with a friend.We wanted to borrow some money for investment in our ebay business.
After all the lengthy questions,the bank representative asked me if i will be able to pay back if i run out of money,and become unemployed.I said yes.The representative asked me about what other resources i got for generating cash in case of emergency?
My reply was that i got some property back home in Pakistan,and these days property prices are almost the same in Pakistan and the UK,and it's true,as the house i built with my own money some years ago,costed me around 30,000 pounds at that time.Now the same house is worth 110,0000 pounds atleast.
But apparantly the bank representative,did not beleive what i said,and argued with me on how come property value is the same in THE GREAT UK and little third world poor overcrowded,and whatever pakistan
. Although the average house price in UK is 200,000 pounds but then a litre of petrol does not cost 45p in UK,and a family does not live good on 300 pounds a month in UK as they do in Pakistan.
I called off the meeting and told him that i do not want the loan anymore. Well his behaviour showed that he was not wiling to give it to me anyway
